God seems to get my attention through dreams.
This dream was about F1. I don’t even watch the race!
All I could see at first were the huge tyres.
Then a picture came together of the very expensive car and the well trained driver. The car had just come off the track and there was a hive of activity, it took numerous people to change the tyres in the drivers pit stop.
It was slick but officiant, those tyres were changed and the car was refuelled in seconds and the driver was back in the race.
I asked God what that meant.
God showed me that picture to remind me/us that we all need support.
No matter how much money people have.
No matter their status or job title.
No matter of their sexuality.
No matter their personality.
Every single person needs support.
We all need a community around us to cheer us on, to listen, to provide practical helps.To be there for one another. I had to look up how many people work in a pit stop 16!!!
We only see the driver on the winning podium. But he couldn’t do it alone without all those other workers.
God created us to need each other to be a part of a wider family.
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.”
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 NIV
Ask the Holy Spirit to show you what you may need support with?
Also ask how you may be an support those who may be in need today.
