The gift of 2025

You have been given a huge gift, it’s the gift of 2025.

Its gift wrapped with a bright beautiful bow.

You gently untie the bow and the sides of the box falls open.

A sense of anticipation floods you, along with wonder and a touch of apprehension of what this year will bring.

The gift is now wide open, its vastness is overwhelming. You see that is it’s a multi- faceted gift, it has so many parts to it. You cannot see its end from its beginning.

In the centre of the gift is the one who was with you all through 2024.

He is shining radiantly.

His arms are wide open and He calls you to come to Him.

As you walk towards Him, He asks you to take his hand.

He says to you “Do not look too far ahead, keep holding my hand, bathe in my light”

He continues to whisper words of encouragement to you.

“We are going to walk through this gift together, no looking back now.”

“I’ll show you the wonder of each new day, if you let me.”

“I will guide you and keep my loving eye upon you “ Psalm 32:8

“I will lead you and prompt you in when you should be saying “Yes” and when you should say “No”

“As you walk closely beside me, just holding my hand. Your old companions of anxiety, fear, doubt and people pleasing will dissolve.

“The gift of 2025 is like a blanket of white snow never been trodden on, its brand new, go into this gift with fresh eyes. It’s a new beginning, so allow yourself a fresh start but give others that gift too. “Let go of passed hurts, let go of unforgiveness.

Take no burdens from last year”

The giver of this gift loves you so much and promises never to leave you or forsake you he says to you;

‘See I am doing something brand new, something unheard of. Even now it sprouts and grows and matures. Don’t you perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and open up flowing streams in the desert ’Isaiah Ch 43:19
