Dear Child
I see you in your pit.
I hear your moans and groans.
I know the depth of your pain.
I feel your disappointment.
When you cry out my name. I hear you.
I come to you. I sit with you in your pit of despair.
I am so close.
I am your comforter.
People will try and speak words of comfort or give you platitudes.
They try to bring you comfort with their well meaning words.
I comfort your heart.
I am the one who will give you true peace.
It’s ok to Lament.
I need my children to be real and honest.
Pour it all out onto me.
Even the words you can’t articulate.
I hear your sighs.
I can take it all. I have broad shoulders.
I see your helplessness.
Hope comes when you come into my presence.
I am your hope.
Keep calling my name.
I am always attune to your voice.
love from your Heavenly Father
“I called on your name, Lord, from the depths of the pit.”
Lamentations 3:55 NIV
“You came near when I called you, and you said, “Do not fear.””
Lamentations 3:57 NIV
This is real life! And this calls out that God is our true Heavenly Father - in ALL circumstances. A most prcious reminder and encouragement. Thanks Ang!
