Your mind is so full of hundreds of thoughts. Many of them are good, while others are worries, and some are stories that you tell yourself that are not true.
Take a breath. Still your mind, yes, you have control over your mind, you have to purposefully stop the whirling, constant negative chatter and let your mind breathe.
Just like you work your muscles to make them stronger, you must purposefully practice stilling your mind to allow it to be at peace.
My word is full of reminders to help you practice this.

Try practising today. Take a breath, lasso the thought that you know is not from me and speak truth over your mind.
If it helps, learn one of the verses so that when the thoughts start whirling around your mind, you can bring back to mind a verse that will help you to believe the truth.
