Lately I have had an incredibly busy mind at night!
Most probably because we are moving three hours away and starting a new ministry!!
Busy minds at night are the worst!
‘What ifs?’ and worries about those we will leave behind go round and round in my mind.
When this happens usually in the early hours of the morning.
God has gently whispered
“Do you trust me?”
I answer “ Yes Lord I trust you”
I have being hearing those words over and over!
I have trusted God all of my life.
I know from experience, He can be trusted. His character is faithfulness He can never be unfaithful that is not who He is.
Gods word shows over and over again how He can be trusted.
God shut the lions mouths so Daniel wouldn’t be eaten.
Daniels friends were thrown in a fiery furnace and came out not only alive but not even singed!
God sent food from heaven every day to the children of Israel so they wouldn’t starve in the wilderness.
God allowed Jonah to be swallowed up by a big fish so he wouldn’t die but get to the place and people where God wanted Him to be.
Jesus used five loaves and two fish to feed five thousand people.
Jesus healed people sight, lepers paralytics and numerous others.
I could go on and on but just read it for yourself!
Whilst here on earth we will suffer many things as we live in a fallen world.
In the midst of your heartache, your pain , your illness , your need,
know this God can be trusted.
How do we trust? By giving Him the very things that consume your mind and heart.
Leave all your worries and pain in His very large hands!
Often when we pray our circumstances do not change (and we can still be in a metaphorical big stinking fish wondering if it will ever get better!!)
Only Trusting in God will bring us peace.
“Trust only in God every moment! Tell him all your troubles and pour out your heart-longings to him. Believe me when I tell you—he will help you!
Psalms 62:8 TPT
“Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make.”
Proverbs 3:5 TPT
“Pour out all your worries and stress upon him and leave them there, for he always tenderly cares for you.”
1 Peter 5:7 TPT
I invite you to pray now I have left a gap so you can tell God what you need to trust Him with.
Father son and Holy Spirit
Thank you that even in the midst of suffering or heartache or pain
You are trustworthy.
I trust you now with ………….
Thank you for loving me and being bigger than all that I am facing
Amen
