God is still on his throne!

Hebrews 1:8 Your throne, O God will last for ever and your righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.
v 18 You remain the same and your years will never end.

God is still on his throne. When did he ever get off?
We may often find ourselves wanting to be in control and try pushing Him off, we do this by believing that we
are in control and try and force and manipulate the circumstances in our lives.
How often do we focus on our own issues and make it all about us? Then think that we have to be the answer to the worlds issues!

God is in complete control.
Nothing surprises God. Nothing scares God. Nothing worries God.
God is the alpha and the omega the beginning and the end and everything in between.
God is never stumped and thinks 'I don't have a clue what to do next!!'
God has the solution because He is the solution.

God wants us all to remember that when we worship Him we put Him in His rightful place. On the throne.
The throne that never changes, rusts or wares out. He is the one constant in our lives.

When we worship Him He becomes central and He gets the praise and adoration He deserves.
God desires our complete reliance on Him not on our selves.

God is our creator He knows what we need even before we do.

Gods desire is for His children to come to him first before we start to worry, panic, stress, or spiral out of control.
Why? because He is our loving heavenly Father who loves to hear from His children.
He loves to commune with us. He loves it when we bring everything and lay it at His feet.
He loves it when we ask Him questions then wait to hear his answers.

The chorus from the Hymn God is still on the throne by Kittie L Suffield
written in 1929 is still true today in 2023

God is still on the throne,
And He will remember His own;
Though trials may press us and burdens distress us,
He never will leave us alone;
God is still on the throne,
He never forsaketh His own;
His promise is true, He will not forget you,
God is still on the throne.

AMEN! Love the statement "God has the solution because He is the solution." How easy in all the noise and busyness of life to take our eyes and our hearts off of the Lord who loves us SO MUCH. He is indeed in control and that alone is where our peace, joy, hope, and confidence rests. Thanks Angela - great reminder of such a critical truth!
