The invitation

Dear child

I invite you to walk boldly to my throne.

You do not need to enter my presence with shame or fear.

I invite you to come with confidence.

You are wearing a red robe of righteousness

that has been purchased by my precious son's blood.

I no longer see your sin or guilt; all I see is you washed clean.

Please do not carry the guilt of your past mistakes.

Do not keep ruminating over your past sins.

Once you have repented and given it to me, you have been made clean.

I am not a condemning God, reminding you of all the wrong you have done.

When Jesus was taking his last breaths on the cross, he said, “It is finished”

When you keep bringing your past up to me, you are calling my son a liar.

Walk in the freedom of forgiveness.

Let my love and mercy flood you.

Once you grasp how loved and forgiven you are,

You will find it easier to release forgiveness to others.
